ABOUT OXBOWBEND,

We started this farm in 2013 with hopes that eventually we would be able to do this full time. Year after year we have expanded our production and in 2018 doubled our land that we farm. We are located on an old river oxbow ​SW of Lincoln a few miles. The soil on our land is second to none, therefore we rarely have to use fertilizers and only use sustainable practices on our farm. We only use natural pesticides and fertilizers that are organic certified for use. Most of the work is all done by hand we use very little water.

Can't forget about the mushrooms, if you have never eaten "chicken of the woods" it's a must have.  Morels will also be for sale this spring when the season arrives, and there are a few other fungi that pop up in the spring and fall!
